How groups are chosen
1. Guidance in Grade 8
Subject teachers write a recommendation based on three years of work, not on one examination.
2. A family meeting
Students and parents meet the section head in February to discuss options honestly, including where a group would be a struggle.
3. A review window
Group choices can be changed within the first four weeks of Grade 9 or Grade 11 if the fit is wrong.
